Miller Other Sinners

Inspired by the Southern tradition of Sunday brunch with soul food and gospel music, Buffalo restaurants Hydraulic Hearth and The Black Sheep and musician David Michael Miller are teaming to present a casual brunch in the Hydraulic Hearth beer garden, while donating a portion of proceeds to the St. Patrick’s food pantry around the corner in Larkinville.

On Sunday, August 23rd, Hydraulic Hearth’s whimsically welcoming outdoor beer garden will host two seatings of brunch service at noon and 2:00pm, with a pig roast and Southern-style sides catered by The Black Sheep and Miller and the Other Sinners performing a set of gospel music during each seating. Miller’s second solo album, “Same Soil,” currently stands at #5 on the Roots Music Report’s blues chart, behind Buddy Guy and Sonny Landreth. With seating limited, $25 advance tickets covering food and music can be purchased at;; drinks such as craft brews, shandies and cocktails will be offered at Hydraulic Hearth’s outdoor bar.

OCO-Drea Larkin 8-5-15

Following another phenomenal Live at Larkin finale jam in which the Alison Pipitone Band welcomed longtime cohort Pamela Ryder back onstage to tear the house down, we look ahead to the opposite scenario for West Side Bazaar Night in Week 8- while Outer Circle Orchestra and Drea d’Nur are both well-established on Buffalo’s music scene, our signature dual band encore will mark the first time they’ve performed together!

Pipitone-Ryder Larkin 7-29-15

Whataya know, another “wow” in Week 6 of Live at Larkin, which stands as one of our all-time finest concerts – the excitement onstage and in the crowd for Vinnie DeRosa’s debut album release had the whole place pumped up, and both Vinnie and opening act Toney Rhodes delivered explosive sets that won’t soon be forgotten. I’ve got his “Hesitate” EP on repeat, and based on the busy merch table after the show I reckon many more Western New Yorkers are saying the same right now!

While we flip the script again in Week 7, we can still Read More
