Moving First Niagara Bank’s corporate headquarters to the historic Larkin District in 2009 allowed the bank to be closer to many of its commercial clients and leading professional service firms in Buffalo. More importantly, it demonstrated the bank’s commitment to the city. It was the first of many initiatives to revitalize and promote the rebirth of the Larkin building. First Niagara has made investing in the Larkin District a top priority with wide-ranging support of activities to redevelop the surrounding neighborhood. We are proud to be at the forefront of the successful transformation of the Larkin District and to have played an important role in the area’s renaissance.
Our support of the Larkin District is an important investment to make our community an exciting, vibrant place to live and work. We are pleased to be the presenting sponsor to Larkin Square’s unique and entertaining programming such as the “Live at Larkin” concert series, “Food Truck Tuesdays” and more. With something for everyone, Larkin Square is where whimsy is had amongst the warehouses—and business and community come together to create new possibilities and do great things.
