Food Truck Tuesdays return on April 19th!

Call it a sign of the times – while the sight of a single robin is traditionally deemed the first sign of spring, this year a FTT2much larger sight will appear in the form of Food Truck Tuesdays in Larkin Square, which will begin in April for the first time in the four-year history of the free event.

Responding to the public insatiable demand for what’s become Buffalo’s biggest dinner party, Larkin Square has set an opening date of April 19th for its flagship event, welcoming thousands of hungry fun-seekers to enjoy their choice from more than 25 Western New York food trucks, live music, local retailers and nonprofits.

Food Truck Tuesdays 940 food trucks in all from as far as Rochester will flock to Larkinville over the course of the six-month season, which will run weekly through October 4th; the annual “Truck or Treat” season finale will take place for the first time on the Friday before Halloween, October 28th. Also new in Larkin Square this year is a standalone permanent public restroom facility, built during this past offseason to accommodate large crowds.

Admission and parking remain free, thanks to support from sponsors First Niagara and Independent Health; and again this year, each truck will offer at least one item certified by Independent Health as a Healthy Choice.
