Plogging Run in Larkinville, Saturday April 29th

Flying Bison Brewery and the Hydraulic Hearth invite you to a Plogging Run in Larkinville on Saturday, April  29th.  The event begins at 11 AM at Flying Bison Brewery, 840 Seneca Street and ends at the Hydraulic Hearth, 716 Swan Street. This is part of the Urban Run Series.

The event will offer a 5 or 3 mile run or a 2 mile walk around the streets of Larkinville.  During the run or walk participants pick up trash.

Plogging is an activity started in Sweden where runners pick up trash while jogging along a designated route. The name is combination of Swedish term plocka upp, meaning “to pick up”, and English term jogging.
Plogging is a great way to get out and move your body all around while picking up trash and jogging.

The group will do a 5 and 3 mile Plogging Run around the streets of Buffalo lead by the Urban Runners. In addition, a two-mile walk will occur focused on cigarette butts lead by Tobacco Free WNY.
All runners, joggers and walkers are welcome to Plog! No experience required. They will provide the garbage bags and gloves to all runners.
Post run activities at Flying Bison and The Hydraulic Hearth.
