Prohibition Repeal Celebration: December 5th, 8-11pm
Celebrate the anniversary of the Repeal of Prohibition by exercising your right to drink! The celebration, directly following Holiday Live at Larkin, will begin at 8pm in Larkin Square with a keg procession to the Hydraulic Hearth.
The new Hydraulic Hearth restaurant and brewery will host a Prohibition Repeal Day celebration in honor of the 81st anniversary of the 21st Amendment, for which the Larkin Terminal Warehouse was city’s only bonded warehouse, housing 10,000 cases of imported whiskey and gin to be delivered to local bars and restaurants once declared legal.
Themed drinks and music will mark the occasion, along with a ceremonial barrel procession led by leaders of three of Larkinville’s newest residents – Community Beer Works, Flying Bison Brewing Company, and Buffalo Distilling Company.
