It’s almost patio season which means it’s time for refreshing seasonal cocktails! We may not be in the Hydraulic Hearth Beer Garden just yet, but bar manager Adam Rath shared his tips on how to make the Hearth’s classic shandy so you can enjoy the drink at home.
- 1 oz. simple syrup
- 1 oz. fresh citrus juice (grapefruit, orange, lemon)
- 2 oz. sparkling water
- 1 can of pilsner or wheat beer
Add juice, simple syrup and sparkling water into a pint glass. Top with wheat beer or pilsner (Hydraulic Hearth uses Community Beer Works’ Frank).
