For more than seven years, Larkin Square has teamed up with our generous sponsor, Independent Health, and the YMCA to be a Fitness in the Parks location. Even though public gatherings look different this summer, you do not have to miss out on free and feel-good workouts!
Independent Health and the YMCA are presenting virtual classes from now until September 12th. Classes will stream in real time from the Facebook pages of YMCA Buffalo Niagara and the Jamestown Area YMCA, and can be accessed anytime thereafter. Instructors are encouraged to host their class outdoors to keep the spirit and intent of the original program.
No sign up or registration is required, just tune in! Each class is taught by a certified YMCA instructor. Here is the full schedule that will run until September 12:
- Mondays at 6 p.m. – Boot Camp
- Tuesdays at 430 p.m. – Kickboxing
- Wednesdays at 9 a.m. – Fusion
- Thursdays at 5 p.m. – Yoga
- Saturdays at 9 a.m. – Cardio Kick
