With more time at home, many people are cranking up their ovens and tackling new baking recipes. Amanda Amico of the Swan Street Diner and Amy’s Truck shares her favorite banana bread recipe. Check out her baking tips in the video below!
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) softened butter
- 3/4 cup sugar2 eggs
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Preheat oven to 350°. Cream together butter and sugar. Add the eggs, vanilla, milk and bananas and mix well. Add the dry ingredients in a separate bowl then combine with the wet ingredients. Mix until combined. Pour into a greased bread pan. Bake 50-60 min at 350°.
